I began this project after the attacks of September 11. My original intention was to model the skyline of the southern tip of Manhattan as it was before this tragedy. The further the work advenced, I got carried away and ending with the model presented in this website. It took me a little over a year to complete a first draft during my free time. Since then I continued to improve it from time to time, and create new images according to my inspiration. Most of the renderings shown on this pages were created in 2010 and 2011. Very detailed models of the Empire State Building, World Trade Center and Liberty Island complete the package, and allow for close-up views of these places.

Ce projet est né après les attentats du 11 septembre, mon intention de départ était de modéliser le skyline de la pointe sud de Manhattan tel qu'il était avant ce drame. Au fur et à mesure de la progression, je me suis laissé emporter pour finir par le modèle présenté sur ce site. Cela m'a pris un peu plus d'une année pour achever une première version durant mon temps libre. Je continue à l'améliorer de temps à autre, et à créer de nouvelles images au gré de mon inspiration. La plupart des renderings présentés ici ont été créés en 2010 et 2011. Des modèles très détaillés de l'Empire State Building, du World Trade Center et de Liberty Island complètent l'ensemble et permettent des vues en gros plan de ces sites.
